Cycling on a tiny planet

Clever video effect here achieved by simultaneous shooting with 6 Go-Pro cameras and then stitching the results together to make a 360 degree “spherical panorama”…

The artist behind this, Jonas Ginter, made his own mount for the cameras using a 3D printer. The mount is a cube which allows a Go-Pro camera to mounted on each face. The footage from each camera is stitched together as a spherical panorama. This is a technique you do relatively easily with a still camera – see Jonan’s own examples.
